I’m Hasse Rosbach, a music producer based between Norway and Sweden.

I was introduced to record making while studying jazz theory and performance. The first sessions I attended were run by producer Joe Chiccarelli, and those experiences shifted my focus towards making records.

After moving back to Norway, I spent ten years at Propeller Music Division in Oslo, before co-running Albatross Recorders with Martin Sjølie and Even Ormestad. Some of the records I worked on went on to receive Spellemann nominations
and awards.

My role shifts from project to project - at times closely involved in developing material and arrangements, shaping an album’s identity with an artist or ensemble; at others more restrained, focusing on sound and performance.

I work in different studios and locations depending on the project, including a cabin studio in Dalsland, about 90 minutes from Oslo. Based on Gotland, I work across Norway and Sweden.

and Bushman’s Revenge

I also occasionally mix other projects.
